Wipro expands partnership with Google Cloud

IT services firm Wipro has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to scale the adoption of Google Cloud AI. Under this partnership, Wipro is building new industry solutions and prototypes of internal applications utilising Gemini models, developing go-to-market programs, and integrating Gemini Code Assist.

Additionally, Wipro’s innovation lab FullStride Cloud Studio will be integrating Gemini’s advanced reasoning and analysis capabilities into its core business platforms. This is expected to enhance and improve app migration, modernisation, and operations on the cloud. It will be utilised across physical Wipro FullStride Cloud Studios in Bengaluru, London, New Jersey, Dallas, and Mountain View. To be sure, Wipro FullStride Cloud Studios offers cloud-native solutions through tools, accelerators, and blueprints to simplify the design, deployment, and management of cloud programs for customers.

Wipro also said that by using Gemini’s multimodal capabilities, Wipro’s customers have seen improvements in productivity, accuracy, and customer experience.

Wipro is training its associates on Google Cloud’s AI technologies including Gemini to better help global enterprise customers scope, deploy, and manage artificial intelligence (AI) projects. As per the company’s own estimates, this will significantly enhance vital digital transformation projects such as application migrations and modernisation, with GenAI-powered productivity improvements of up to 30%.
