LTIMindtree bags digital transformation deal

IT services firm LTIMindtree has won a digital transformation deal from Germany-based Exyte. Under the partnership, LTIMindtree will deliver comprehensive IT modernisation services to the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company to enhance business and operational efficiency across its diversified portfolio. As part of the engagement, LTIMindtree will deliver comprehensive IT modernisation services encompassing the full spectrum of cloud migration, end-user services, security, application, and comprehensive technology support through a managed services framework.

Polymatech’s acquisition

Chennai-based Polymatech Electronics announced the acquisition of Nisene Technology Group on Monday. The semiconductor chip maker will be acquiring the US-based electronics company through its wholly-owned subsidiary Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials in Singapore.

Nisene’s expertise in Silicon and Silicon Carbide materials, along with Polymatech’s Sapphire-based semiconductors will help the latter to emerge as a multi-wafer company.

LTTS-Altair’s digital twin CoE

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) will establish a digital twin center of excellence (CoE) jointly with computational intelligence firm Altair. The CoE will deliver digital twin capabilities to customers working across sectors such as mobility, hi-tech, and sustainability segments.

The CoE would be offering artificial intelligence-powered engineering for products, systems, and processes; innovation labs for simulating new use cases; predictive maintenance; rapid product development to reduce cycle time for physical prototyping; hands-on training.

HCLSoftware acquires French firm

HCLTech's arm HCLSoftware on Friday said, it plans to acquire a 100 per cent stake in France-based software firm Zeenea SAS at a valuation of 24 million euros (around ₹220 crore or $26.2 million), to expand its data and analytics business offerings. The all-cash deal is expected to be completed in September 2024, according to a regulatory filing by HCLTech.

Founded in 2017, Zeenea is headquartered in Paris, France with subsidiaries in Belgium and the US. The firm provides an intelligent data discovery platform that supports metadata management applications from search and exploration to data catalogue, lineage, governance, compliance and enterprise data marketplace.

CtrlS invests in Patna

Hyderabad-based CtrlS Datacenters said on Monday it plans to invest ₹400 crore in its upcoming facility in Patna.

The upcoming data centre is located in the Pataliputra Industrial Area, through the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA). The new site is located just 300 metres from CtrlS's existing Patna DC1 facility and is set to feature a 10MW IT load capacity and accommodate around 1,000 racks, the company said in a statement.
