Chennai-based Prodapt appoints new MD and CEO
IT services provider Prodapt Solutions announced the appointment of Manish Vyas as MD and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Wednesday. Vyas joined the Chennai-based firm as Executive Director from IT major Tech Mahindra in February of this year.
Vyas, who left Tech Mahindra in November of last year after a 23-year-plus tenure, was the President of the Communications, Media, and Entertainment (CME) business. He also held leadership roles as the CEO of Network Services and BPO business units at that time.
Additionally, as the chief operating officer (COO) for strategic businesses like Experience Design and Digital Engineering, he mentored and provided strategic guidance to drive industry-leading growth. His leadership played a key role in Tech Mahindra's revenue growth from $150 million to an approximately $6.5 billion powerhouse. Notably, he significantly scaled the Communications & Media business, achieving remarkable revenue and EBITDA milestones.
Prodapt’s current CEO Harsha Kumar, who has been with the company for the past eight years, is stepping down from the role and will transition to an advisory role at Prodapt, continuing to support the Board.
Vedant Jhaver, Founder and Chairman of Prodapt, said: “The Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Vyas as CEO and MD of Prodapt. He is a recognised leader in the CMT space. I have worked closely with Vyas over the past few months and witnessed his strategic thinking, focus on talent development, and customer-centric mindset."
"I am sure he will drive our business to achieve scale and further propel Prodapt’s offerings and capabilities to become artificial intelligence (AI)-first and AI-at-core.”
Vyas said, “I am honored and grateful to Jhaver and the Prodapt board for this incredible opportunity to be part of this remarkable institution. Along with Prodapt’s brilliant leadership teams, we are committed to becoming the most customer-centric and innovative company powered by an AI-first approach.”
Vyas holds a Management degree from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai, an Electronics Engineering degree from RCOEM Nagpur, and executive education from institutions like Harvard Business School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Yale University.
Prodapt Solutions, a part of the Jhaver Group, currently employs 6,000 individuals globally, with 4,500 based in India. The company collaborates with major telecom, media, and internet giants worldwide, such as Google, Amazon, Verizon, Vodafone, Virgin Media, British Telecom, Deutsche Telekom and Samsung.
