Indian IT services firm L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has partnered with PS Technology (PST), a subsidiary of Union Pacific Railroad specialising in railroad crew training and management, to improve the operational efficiency and safety of rail infrastructure through advanced simulation technology, the IT firm said in an exchange filing on Tuesday.

The companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on developing artificial intelligence (AI)-based simulation technologies that will enhance rail operations in India and abroad.

As part of this collaboration, they established their first Customer Experience and R&D Center (CXC) in Faridabad. This centre will innovate in simulator design and supply, setting new benchmarks in the Indian railroad sector. It aims to support the Indian Railways by advancing simulation and training capabilities while enhancing safety and providing real-time insights for modern transportation.
