Infogain acquires Salesforce firm to add new capabilities, employees in India
Infogain, a digital platform and software engineering services company headquartered in Silicon Valley, announced on Monday its acquisition of Impaqtive, a Salesforce consulting services firm based in New Jersey and a centre in Kochi.
With this acquisition, Infogain will increase its employee strength by 150, bringing the total number of employees to 6,000 plus. These employees will be located in Kochi and other Infogain offices in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Pune.
The acquisition aims to enhance the company's overall digital customer experience engineering portfolio by leveraging Impaqtive's expertise in Salesforce. As a Summit-level partner, Impaqtive will bring added value to Infogain's existing customers who use Salesforce.
Dinesh Venugopal, CEO of Infogain, stated that the acquisition will enable Infogain to "activate AI" for its customers, helping them maximize their returns from the Salesforce platform.
The specialised Salesforce accreditations of the Impaqtive team will be a valuable asset to Infogain.
By adding Impaqtive's consultants, architects, developers, and accreditations to their team, Infogain plans to strengthen its ability to activate AI, utilise data effectively, and enhance its Salesforce practice. New employees will receive account-based training to familiarise them with Infogain's university and key concepts such as Gen AI, business value, and tech architecture blueprints.
As AI transformation becomes more prevalent, Infogain's customers will require experience-led, platform-led, and data-driven capabilities. This acquisition will enable Infogain to provide a more holistic service to meet these evolving needs.
Praveen Desai, Co-Founder & CEO of Impaqtive said, “This deal propels us forward by providing opportunities to offer our innovative strengths to Infogain's large and valued client base. The acquisition is a testament to our joint vision, and we are excited about being part of Infogain’s future growth trajectory.”
Impaqtive's vertical focus on industries such as retail, hospitality, media, hi-tech, digital, and manufacturing will enhance Infogain's service offerings and domain expertise.
Infogain's previous acquisitions include Silicus Technologies in 2019 and Absolutdata in 2020. The company also announced a definitive agreement to acquire Nggawe Nirman Technologies in 2021.
