Indian IT services and consulting company Infosys has announced a five-year collaboration with Sector Alarm, European security solutions provider, to transform its core enterprise business systems on the cloud. Infosys will migrate Sector Alarm's disparate, on-premises Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), modernising their financial and business operations.

Leveraging Infosys' digital transformation capabilities, the Microsoft platform will streamline finances, provide business insights, and integrate seamlessly with Sector Alarm’s existing CRM platform. Sector Alarm selected Infosys for its proven track record in the Nordics, experience with private equity clients, and expertise in cloud-powered ERP transformation and next-gen Application Management Services (AMS). Utilising Infosys Cobalt, a set of services, solutions, and platforms for cloud acceleration, the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O will optimise business processes, enhance customer retention and acquisition, improve customer and employee experiences, and reduce the Total Cost of Ownership, Infosys said in a statement.

The phased implementation will occur across eight European countries, including Norway, Sweden, Finland, Italy, and France. Lorenzo Bianchi, Chief Digital Transformation Officer at Sector Alarm, said, "Partnering with Infosys on implementing cloud-based ERP solutions, along with their strong collaboration with Microsoft, is a strategic step towards achieving continuous growth and exceptional security solutions for our customers. Infosys' expertise will provide the scalability and operational efficiency needed to seamlessly scale our business."

On May 28, Infosys announced a collaboration with Germany-based lender Commerzbank and Murex, a provider of trading, risk management, and processing solutions for capital markets, to digitally transform the bank’s business processes and IT landscape, with a primary focus on its trading ecosystem.

Prior to that, Infosys announced a multi-year collaboration with Australian telecom company Telstra. The Bengaluru-headquartered firm will provide software engineering, IT innovation, and solutions to Telstra. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
