Hexaware establishes new office in Coimbatore
IT services company Hexaware Technologies has announced the launch of a new office in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. With this move, the company will tap into local talent to serve its clients globally. The city has a ready pool of skilled professionals along with a continuous influx of engineering graduates due to the presence of educational institutes in the city, the company said in a statement.
The new office will focus on data modernization, automation, cloud, data compliance and security, gen AI, business intelligence, and advanced analytics. To be sure, Hexaware’s business process services (BPS) division already operates in the city.
“With our expansion in Coimbatore, we’re excited to enhance our operational capabilities and access the talented workforce in emerging cities. This initiative highlights our ongoing efforts to innovate and deliver quality service,” said Vinod Chandran, Chief Operating Officer, Hexaware.
Notably, Hexaware Technologies, on Tuesday, announced plans to expand its workforce by hiring between 6,000 and 8,000 employees across different international locations this year, with a significant number of recruits from India. The company aims to attract talented professionals to its offshore, onshore, and near-shore centers in India, the US, Canada, Mexico, Poland, and the UK.
In India, Hexaware intends to recruit for key locations such as Hyderabad, Noida, Coimbatore, Dehradun, and Bengaluru. The company will organise recruitment drives in additional cities, including Ahmedabad, Indore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram to attract top-tier talent.
In India, the recruitment drive aims to fill critical roles with a strong focus on sought-after skills such as ServiceNow Tech Leads, Automation Testing Specialists (API), AEM Architects, Big Data Leads, and Workday Financial Consultants. For Coimbatore particularly, the focus will be on Azure Databricks, Python, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
