Protean eGov Technologies Limited, a key player in Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and regulatory tech services, has unveiled its latest product, ‘eSignPro.’ This advanced digital signature and stamping solution is a new addition to Protean’s smart documentation suite, aiming to enhance the efficiency and security of digital transactions.

The new offering integrates digital signatures and e-stamping with a comprehensive documentation and automation suite, making it a robust, enterprise-grade solution designed to streamline business operations and reduce costs, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The move to digitalise agreements presents a substantial opportunity, especially given that financial institutions spend over ₹200 per document on printing, executing, and storing physical paperwork. With the new solution, all these processes can be managed digitally, legally, and at a much lower cost. The platform’s built-in automation simplifies workflows, enables the creation of custom templates, and includes maker/checker functionalities, enhancing productivity and ensuring a secure, seamless experience.

Suresh Sethi, MD & CEO of Protean eGov Technologies, said that despite establishing a digital public infrastructure across various sectors, the reliance on physical documents remains causing financial and environmental challenges.

eSignPro aims to eliminate the need for physical paper and manual signatures in processes like account opening, re-KYC, lending, and contract execution. It offers features like workflow management, user-friendly dashboards, and universal access via WhatsApp, SMS, and email, promising faster turnaround times, lower costs, and enhanced risk control for organisations and their clients.

Previously known as NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Ltd, Protean serves as the government’s technology partner to develop citizen-centric e-governance solutions.
