SN Subrahmanyan appointed as LTIMindtree’s chairman

IT services firm LTIMindtree has appointed SN Subrahmanyan as the Chairman effective June 27. Subrahmanyan succeeds AM Naik who has now decided to step down from the post.

"The Board of Directors at its meeting held today has approved the appointment of S.N Subrahmanyan, Non-Executive Vice-Chairman, as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Company with effect from June 27, 2024," the company said in an exchange filing.

In the statement, the board praised Naik, who has been the Founder Chairman of the company, for his ‘unparalleled contribution’ and ‘stewardship led to an upsurge in shareholder value creation’, while also calling him the architect of LTIMindtree’s transformation into a focused global conglomerate. 

Naik’s successor Subrahmanyan joined the Board of L&T Infotech on 10 Jan 2015. He was appointed as the Vice Chairman of L&T Infotech on 04 May 2017. One of the highlights of his time in the company is playing an instrumental role in the acquisition of Mindtree in 2019 and then leading the merger of L&T Infotech and Mindtree.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to him and the Board for reposing trust in me and appointing me as the Chairman.
