Pure Storage unveils new AI and Cyber Resilience features for enterprises 

Pure Storage, the data storage technologies and services provider, has announced new enhancements to its platform designed to help enterprises deploy AI, improve cyber resilience, and modernise applications. 

The updated Pure Storage platform aims to provide organisations with agility and risk reduction through a simple and consistent storage experience across on-premises, public cloud, and hosted environments. Central to this platform is the Evergreen architecture, which allows for continuous, non-disruptive upgrades, enabling enterprises to adapt to changing business environments. This platform also offers a high number of concurrent service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring reliability, performance, and sustainability.

New features include Pure Fusion, which unifies arrays and optimises storage pools for both structured and unstructured data across on-premises and cloud environments. Additionally, a GenAI Copilot for Storage will allow businesses to manage and protect data using natural language, leveraging insights from Pure Storage customers to assist storage teams in managing performance and security issues. 

The platform also introduces purpose-built AI storage as-a-service, providing guaranteed storage performance for GPUs to support training, inference, and high-performance computing workloads. Secure application workspaces with fine-grained access controls combine Kubernetes container management, secure multi-tenancy, and policy governance tools to enhance data integration between enterprise data and AI clusters. 

Furthermore, new capabilities in cyber resiliency include SafeMode for ransomware recovery, enhanced cyber recovery and resilience SLAs, security assessments, and AI-powered anomaly detection enhancements.
