To meet the growing demand for real-time artificial intelligence (AI) computing, Yotta Data Services, promoted by the Hiranandani Group, has announced a partnership with the German company Partex to assist healthcare enterprises with advanced AI technology.

Partex is a digital pharma platform that offers AI-powered drug asset management and machine learning (ML) algorithm development services.

This partnership will leverage Yotta’s Shakti-Cloud platform, powered by Nvidia H100 GPU computing infrastructure, to support Partex’s AI-driven healthcare solutions. The two companies will collaborate to develop and deploy AI-based applications that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services, particularly in drug discovery and patient care.

By utilising this setup, Partex will be able to deliver its solutions not only in India and Europe but also globally. Both teams will establish a dedicated cross-organizational unit to create a joint go-to-market partnership model. In this model, Partex will contribute its healthcare domain expertise, while Yotta will bring its advanced AI platform capabilities to the table, as stated in a company release.

This collaboration aligns with India’s increasing focus on AI, with the market projected to reach $14 billion by 2030. The goal of the partnership is to democratise AI-based healthcare solutions, making them more accessible to various stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.

Gunjan Bhardwaj, Co-founder & CEO of Partex, said, “Our collaboration with Yotta is a significant step towards integrating AI into healthcare, enabling drug discovery and other healthcare solutions at scale and low cost by providing specialized AI infrastructure to customers in India and worldwide.”

Sunil Gupta, Co-founder, MD, and CEO of Yotta expressed excitement for the collaboration, anticipating a new era of healthcare innovation. “We are eager to embark on this journey, leveraging our scalable sovereign cloud, cutting-edge GPU technology, and AI compute platform services,” he said.

Yotta’s Shakti-Cloud AI platform offers various IaaS and PaaS services, including foundational AI models and applications that assist Indian enterprises in developing robust AI tools and products.

Yotta is deploying one of the world's ten largest supercomputers with its initial cluster of 16,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, along with InfiniBand and high-speed storage at NM1, Yotta’s highly acclaimed and Asia’s largest Uptime Tier-IV data centre in Navi Mumbai. Subsequently, Yotta plans to deploy a cluster of similar size at D1, Yotta’s hyper-scale data centre in Greater Noida, near Delhi.

Meanwhile, a report published by PwC India in March highlights the potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to revolutionize India's healthcare system, improving efficiency in patient treatment. GenAI, already adopted in various industries, is expected to drive significant growth in India's healthcare sector, with the number of GenAI startups doubling between 2021 and 2023.

By leveraging technologies like natural language processing and predictive analytics, GenAI offers real-time clinical support and personalized patient care. However, the report emphasizes the need for robust governance frameworks to address data privacy and security concerns.
