SailPoint unveils AI-powered app onboarding to boost security

Identity and access management provider SailPoint Technologies has introduced its AI-powered onboarding feature for applications. SailPoint Identity Security Cloud has a new feature that makes it easier for clients to safeguard their most valuable business apps. This feature will however be made available by June 30.

This technological trait is a significant milestone towards securing the modern organizations and ensuring complete identity security. The advent of the onboarding by automation on essential enterprise applications has made the process simpler leading to faster value realization, better user experiences, and more secure business applications.

Often times organizations have hundreds or even thousands of applications which can turn out to be very expensive when onboarding them into an identity security solution especially if those managing lack enough staff or skills in IT. Moreover, artificial intelligence powered recommendations facilitate mapping identities against accounts which can be a time-consuming task. As a result, this process is automated and anticipated to reduce mapping time by as much as 70%, thereby releasing IT and security experts so they can concentrate on more important tasks.
