Tata Elxsi, Red Hat team up to enhance 5G multi-cloud networks for connected vehicles

Global engineering and designing company Tata Elxsi has partnered with Red Hat to improve the application movement in 5G multi-cloud environments for telecommunications companies (Telcos) and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs).

The collaboration is using Red Hat’s OpenShift as a common container-as-a-service (CaaS) layer across multi-cloud environments. Neuron, Tata Elxsi’s automation platform with multiple layers, will help facilitate cloud automation seamless, 5G application placements and modernisation.

In addition to the In-Vehicle OS from Red Hat, both corporations are working on 5G connected car technology focused on Tata Elxsi's TETHER and CVP platform. This mixture will bring edge analytics together with in-vehicle data processing and management involving Machine learning operations (MlOps).

Tata Elxsi brings experience on connected vehicle segment as well as capabilities in 5G network design orchestration automation testing while they on the other hand aid global operators to monetize their networks through innovative applications within automotive healthcare among other sectors.
