LTTS, IIT Hyderabad partner to drive innovations in auto industry
L&T Technology Services Limited announced a partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) to accelerate advances in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (CV2X) communication. This collaboration is significant for the automotive industry since these technologies are being integrated into these areas using state-of-the-art technologies.
The collaboration between LTTS and IIT Hyderabad will enable research and practical development of ADAS and CV2X technologies with devoted attention to road security, efficiency on the roads, and overall driving experience improvement. This partnership leverages synergies between both institutions’ capabilities aimed at fostering connected vehicle ecosystem innovation and transformational designs.
Through this joint project, the latest developments in ADAS as well as CV2X will be explored. It will feature among others cutting-edge features within ADAS such as collision avoidance systems, lane departure warning systems, pedestrian detection systems as well as adaptive cruise control systems. AI-driven algorithms incorporating sensor technology are also considered for real-time hazard recognition and response enhancement purposes.
