HCLTech integrates its GenAI platform with Google Gemini

Indian IT services firm HCLTech on Thursday teamed up with Google Cloud to integrate its GenAI platform, HCLTech AI Force, with Google Gemini models. This integration aims to enhance the scalability and innovation capabilities of AI-driven solutions for enterprises. 

HCLTech AI Force, known for accelerating the value of GenAI investments, will now utilize Google's multimodal large language model (LLM) Gemini. This collaboration ensures robust security and governance measures alongside the accessibility and support for Gemini applications.

The integration includes several industry solutions powered by Gemini models, such as intelligent asset tracking, which enhances material movement within manufacturing plants, and a core Production Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution that streamlines production processes. Additionally, augmented network automation (ANA) and net-zero intelligence operations (NIO) help mobile providers reduce energy consumption. 

With its extensive expertise in full-stack application development and AI, HCLTech aims to help clients unlock the best value from GenAI, from chip development to cloud and business process optimization. Recently, the company has also introduced GenAI capabilities to its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) solution, iMRO/4. This enhancement is designed to boost the performance and efficiency of high-value assets in sectors such as transportation, technology, energy, aerospace and defense. 

To support this, HCLTech said it will launch a GenAI bot aimed at streamlining service instructions and shortening complex asset maintenance processes in SAP S/4HANA. These scalable, innovative AI solutions aim to address the evolving needs of enterprises worldwide.
