HCLTech, Arm partner to enhance data center environments

IT services company HCLTech has announced a partnership with semiconductor firm Arm to augment custom silicon chips that support AI-based business operations. This partnership is targeted at helping semiconductor manufacturers, system OEMs, and cloud services providers enhance their data center environments computing efficiency and to meet customer demands. 

HCLTech will leverage Arm’s infrastructure solution called the Arm Neoverse Compute Subsystems (CSS) to minimise development risks and accelerate the delivery of innovative and market customised solutions for AI workloads.

HCLTech will get a preferential access to Neoverse CSS as a member of Arm Total Design. An ecosystem approach for the facilitation of developing and delivering custom system-on-chip solutions based on Neoverse CSS, Arm Total Design comprises partners such as  ASIC design houses, IP vendors, EDA tool providers, foundries, and firmware developers
