Hiranandani Group-owned Yotta Data Services has launched an extensive cybersecurity suite named ‘Suraksha’, aimed at protecting organisations from possible cyberattacks. The suite is designed to defend against Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), Internet of Things (IoT) vulnerabilities, and supply chain attacks.

According to Yotta, cyberattacks have surged by 28% globally in the first quarter of 2024. India has seen an even sharper increase, with an average of 2,807 attacks per week, marking a 33% rise from the previous year. This trend has made India one of the most targeted nations worldwide.

The Yotta Suraksha suite offers a comprehensive range of services including perimeter security, threat management, and application security. These services are customisable, allowing organisations to enhance their cybersecurity measures without needing a complete overhaul. This adaptability makes Suraksha scalable for various organisational needs.

“At Yotta, data security and integrity is paramount,” said Sunil Gupta, Co-founder & CEO of Yotta Data Services. “With the Yotta Suraksha Services suite, we reinforce our commitment to ensuring organisations worldwide can operate in the digital realm with reliable cybersecurity measures. Our comprehensive defense shields safeguard all aspects of an organisation’s digital footprint, ensuring maximum cybersecurity.”

Rajesh Garg, Sr. EVP, Chief Digital Officer, and Head of Applications, Cybersecurity & CISO at Yotta Data Services, added, “Yotta Suraksha Services provides cutting-edge cybersecurity tools, allowing organisations to focus on their core business operations without worry. Accessible globally, these services help establish a robust defense posture, leveraging best practices and comprehensive policy frameworks to ensure data integrity with advanced safeguards.”

One key component of the Suraksha portfolio is the Yotta Smart CSOC (Cyber Security Operations Centre), powered by IBM QRadar. This service offers robust protection through extensive threat research, intelligence, niche domain expertise, and advanced cybersecurity consulting services.

The Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) service is another crucial tool in the Suraksha suite. It uses automated scanning tools to identify potential vulnerabilities within a business network and pinpoint possible attack points. The penetration testing components can detect weaknesses that network or system scans might miss, providing evidence of exploitation to enable prompt remediation.

Additionally, Yotta Suraksha Services includes a Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) system that ensures performance-based SLA with 24x7 support. The system employs machine learning algorithms to protect against new and existing threats, OWASP threats, zero-day attacks, and application-level DDoS assaults.

The Indian Cybersecurity Market, estimated at $4.70 billion in 2024, is expected to grow at a CAGR of 18.33% to reach $10.90 billion by 2029, according to Mordor Intelligence. This growth is driven by the increasing demand for digitalisation, scalable IT infrastructure, and the need to mitigate risks from third-party vendors. The adoption of a cloud-first strategy is also contributing to the rising demand for cybersecurity solutions.
