Coforge, Microsoft collaborate to launch Copilot Innovation Hub, driving Gen AI adoption
Indian IT services and solutions provider Coforge has joined hands with tech giant Microsoft to unveil the Coforge Copilot Innovation Hub on Tuesday. The hub is focused on expediting the integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) solutions into enterprises.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to nurture a suite of industry-specific Gen AI solutions and seamlessly integrate them with Microsoft's array of Gen AI products and technologies, including Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot.
Under the umbrella of the Copilot Innovation Hub, Coforge has introduced two new copilots: the Underwriter Copilot tailored for insurance carriers and the Advisor Copilot designed for financial services organisations. These innovative solutions aim to empower professionals in these sectors with enhanced decision-making capabilities and streamlined processes.
The Underwriter Copilot for Insurance is engineered to equip insurance underwriters with the tools for informed decision-making, thereby optimising return on investment (ROI) and simplifying the complexities of underwriting. By leveraging this solution, insurance carriers can potentially improve their combined ratios by two to three percent, thereby unlocking new revenue streams and enhancing productivity by 30-35 percent.
Similarly, the Coforge Advisor Copilot facilitates financial advisors and asset managers in accessing comprehensive fund information and performance data swiftly, thereby boosting productivity by over 30 percent.
Sudhir Singh, Executive Director & CEO of Coforge, said, "Coforge is leveraging its industry expertise and customer partnerships to develop tailored generative AI solutions on the Microsoft platform, driving transformation and productivity enhancements."
David Smith, Vice President of WW Channel Sales at Microsoft, echoed Singh's sentiments, highlighting the joint commitment to revolutionizing organizational capabilities globally through the adoption of generative AI.
These copilots, powered by Microsoft's generative AI technologies, are poised to automate manual tasks, offer data-driven recommendations, and optimize business processes, thereby accelerating transformation and fostering new value creation for clients.
The Coforge Copilot Innovation Hub aims to facilitate seamless adoption of Microsoft's Gen AI offerings, promising enhanced efficiencies and superior business outcomes for enterprises worldwide.
On May 6, Wipro announced a collaboration with Microsoft aimed at introducing a suite of Gen AI-powered assistants tailored for financial services. These three cognitive assistants — Wipro Gen AI Investor Intelligence, Wipro Gen AI Investor Onboarding, and Wipro Gen AI Loan Origination — are powered by Azure OpenAI and are set to seamlessly integrate with existing mobile and digital platforms.
Earlier, on April 30, Genpact announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft. Their shared objective is to drive modern finance transformation across enterprises by harnessing the potential of data, technology, and AI to foster innovation and revolutionize finance organizations worldwide.
