Yotta Data Services appoints Anil Pawar as Chief AI Officer

Yotta Data Services, the data centre firm of the Hiranandani Group, announced the appointment of Anil Pawar as the Chief Artificial Intelligence (AI) Officer and Head of AI Cloud Business Unit on Monday. In this role, he will lead strategic initiatives within the AI Cloud BU, focusing on utilising AI, cloud, and platform technologies to drive innovation and provide significant value to customers.

Pawar, in his new role, will be crucial in shaping and implementing Yotta's AI strategy by utilising emerging AI technologies to improve customer interactions and employee experiences in a responsible, trustworthy, and secure manner. He will report directly to Sunil Gupta, overseeing strategic projects like AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS), AI Platform-as-a-Service (AIPaaS), AI Software-as-a-Service (AISaaS), and the Large Language Model (LLM) marketplace within the Shakti Cloud Business Unit.

Yotta Data Services highlighted that Pawar's leadership will be essential in advancing Yotta's accomplishments by aligning technological investments with business objectives, recognizing market opportunities, and promoting collaboration.

Pawar's appointment coincides with Yotta's shift towards cloud services platforms like Shakti and Yntraa, aligning with the company's strategic direction. His extensive experience, consistent track record of tech innovation, including multiple US patents in various communication technologies, and exceptional leadership qualities make Pawar a valuable addition to the Yotta team.

With over 25 years of experience in networks, cloud, digital transformation, product development, and communications, Pawar's most recent role was as the Head of Tech Strategy at Rakuten Japan, where he led AI programs and AI Cloud transformation initiatives. He also played a key role in establishing one of the world's largest data-driven networks at Reliance Jio.
