Colt Technology, Infosys partner for digital transformation
UK-based Colt Technology Services has announced a five-year collaboration with IT services firm Infosys to significantly advance Colt's digital transformation initiatives, leveraging both companies' strengths to deliver enhanced solutions to enterprises.
Under this collaboration, Colt's SD WAN, SASE, and Network-as-a-Service solutions will be integrated with Infosys' expertise in digital transformation. Infosys will spearhead efforts to accelerate the development of Colt IO, an advanced platform designed to automate and simplify services, systems, and processes. This initiative aims to improve customer service efficiency and responsiveness to market changes.
Ash Surti, Chief Digital and Information Officer at Colt Technology Services, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "We're excited to announce our collaboration with Infosys as we continue our digital transformation journey to deliver the best possible experience for our employees, customers, and partners."
Upendra Kohli, Executive Vice President — Communication, Media & Entertainment (Americas & Europe) at Infosys, said, "We are delighted to collaborate with Colt on the modernisation of their intricate IT infrastructure. Our strategic digital transformation initiatives, aimed at enhancing efficiency and agility, will help Colt with enhanced customer experience and accelerate their transformational digital initiatives. "
The partnership follows Colt's recent acquisition of Lumen EMEA in November 2023. Infosys will support the integration of the two organisations, aiming to deliver a seamless, consistent service experience. This integration promises an expanded range of industry-leading solutions for customers and streamlined access to essential platforms for employees.

Additionally, Infosys partnered with ServiceNow on May 8 to develop generative AI-based solutions for improving customer experience across various industries, including telecom, financial services, manufacturing, and retail. This partnership will see Infosys doubling its investment in training and certifying over 3,500 employees in ServiceNow generative AI skills, enhancing their capability to deliver innovative solutions.
