GNANI.AI introduces voice-first Language Model for enterprises
GNANI.AI, a provider of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions, has introduced its Voice-First SLM (Small Language Models) for enterprises in India. These SLMs are trained on vast amounts of audio data, capturing the diverse languages, accents, and dialects found across the country.
The aim is to bring about a new era of Gen AI, by giving enterprises advanced language understanding capabilities. Initially focusing on key sectors like banking, insurance, automotive, and retail, GNANI.AI's SLMs are already widely used in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector in India, the company said.
Further, the company said that by introducing Voice-First SLM tailored for Indian languages, GNANI.AI aims to transform how businesses utilise AI in diverse linguistic contexts while maintaining security and privacy.
Ganesh Gopalan, CEO and Co-founder of GNANI.AI, said, "GNANI.AI is ideally positioned as the premier partner for SLM, boasting millions of audio hours of proprietary audio datasets. Gnani.ai ‘s over 200 top-tier customers in India, including major banks, insurance firms, BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) providers, MFIs (Microfinance Institutions), and automotive giants will start leveraging highly accurate, low latency, efficient SLM deployments for impactful use cases."
Ananth Nagaraj, CTO, and Co-founder of GNANI.AI, highlighted the distinctive features of their SLM compared to existing solutions. "While several companies have recently announced fine-tuned versions of open sourced LLM models for Indian languages, they often grapple with effectiveness, lack of multimodal capabilities, high inferencing costs, and privacy concerns. GNANI.AI's SLM models address these challenges head-on, prioritising performance, security, privacy, and deployability on edge computing environments and private infrastructure."
