HCLTech appoints new Independent Director
HCLTech, a global technology company, has appointed Lee Fang Chew as an Independent Director, effective April 25, 2024.
Chew has more than thirty years of experience in the global technology industry. She understands technology changes well, especially in computing. In her new role she will be contributing to HCLTech's growth in the evolving technology landscape.
Previously, she worked at Intel Corporation from 1986 to 2016, holding various leadership roles. At Intel, she focused on strengthening the ecosystem for Intel architecture in data centers, cloud, and consumer and business sectors. She also led Intel's entry into the services business and was in charge of strategic planning for the Channel Product Group.
Additionally, she managed Intel’s Global Distribution & Channel revenue and served as Financial Controller of Asia Pacific. After that, she was Vice President, Strategic Alliances at Applied Materials from 2017 to 2020, where she contributed to shaping the company’s technology value proposition.

Chew holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore and has completed the Women’s Director Development Program from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. She has also attended executive programs for women leaders at Stanford University.
