Datacenter operator in Asia CtrlS Datacenters Ltd has disclosed details about its upcoming datacenter — Hyderabad DC3 — set to be located in the financial hub of Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This marks the company's third establishment in the city and is slated for launch within the next 2-3 months.
The Hyderabad DC3 is projected to encompass a sprawling built-up area spanning nearly 1.34 lakh square feet, with an impressive 13MW IT load capacity. The facility, designed with a Ground + 5 storey structure, aims to incorporate cutting-edge features including advanced AI-ready cooling technologies and earthquake-resistant infrastructure, adhering to seismic zone 2 standards.
Moreover, the datacenter is strategically positioned at a mean sea level of 542 meters, with an additional 2-meter elevation to mitigate flood risks, showcasing its flood-proof design. Security measures are also top-notch, boasting a 9-layer physical security system.
One of the key highlights of the Hyderabad DC3 is its connectivity options, providing access to cloud connect services from major providers such as Google, Oracle, Azure, and AWS via CtrlS Cloud Connect. Additionally, it offers connectivity to major Internet Exchange (IX) providers and is interconnected to all major datacenters within Hyderabad and across Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi via CtrlS Metro Connect and CtrlS NLD Connect respectively.
In line with sustainable practices, the Hyderabad DC3 is aiming for LEED Platinum certification by leveraging renewable energy sources and advanced water recycling technologies.

Hyderabad holds immense significance in the datacenter market of India, with its growing digital landscape and strategic location for hosting disaster recovery services.”
