ITC Infotech buys Pune-based cloud consulting firm Blazeclan

ITC Infotech, the technology and services arm of ITC, announced the acquisition of Blazeclan Technologies. Subject to clauses, the deal is expected to close within the next eight weeks. Regulatory filing has shown that the all-cash deal is worth ₹485 crore.

Pune-headquartered Blazeclan is a cloud-based consulting company which offers services on major public clouds AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. The company provides expertise in cloud migration, digital services, data analytics, and insights. It helps speed up customers’ digital transformation process by modernising the infrastructure with native cloud services and migration accelerators. Blazeclan founded in 2010, reported a turnover of ₹249.50 crore during FY23.

With the acquisition, ITC Infotech will ramp up its cloud capabilities and digital transformation offerings. ITC Infotech will be leveraging platforms and accelerators built by Blazeclan, and further deepen its global presence through cloud competency centers in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and India.

To be sure, in December, ITC Infotech incorporated ITC Infotech Arabia. ITC Arabia focuses on offering information technology services and solutions to contribute to the digital transformation landscape in Saudi Arabia, the company said in a regulatory filing. Additionally, ITC Infotech CEO Singh, in a media interaction with Financial Express in February said that the company will hit the billion dollar revenue mark in the next four to five years.
