Kyndryl, Cloudflare to provide enhanced enterprise networks and security

IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl and Cloudflare, a connectivity cloud company, have announced a global strategic alliance. This alliance aims to help businesses transform their enterprise networks, innovate across multiple clouds, and enhance security measures. 

By combining Kyndryl's consulting services and expertise with Cloudflare's connectivity cloud, the partnership seeks to streamline connectivity to various clouds and data centers while ensuring robust network security. Together, they will assist enterprises in accelerating their digital maturity and modernising their networks. 

Kyndryl will provide guidance on managing IT infrastructure, facilitating the migration of workloads to Cloudflare's connectivity cloud. Meanwhile, Cloudflare's comprehensive cybersecurity measures will help mitigate risks and attacks, ensuring business continuity. 

This collaboration also focuses on environmental sustainability by reducing carbon emissions associated with traditional networking hardware. Organisations transitioning to Cloudflare's cloud-based services can significantly decrease their carbon footprint.

The collaboration between Kyndryl and Cloudflare initially began in May 2023, focusing on modernising enterprise infrastructure with managed WAN-as-a-Service and Cloudflare Zero Trust solutions. Now, the partnership aims for further innovation across all technology stacks to support customers' vital systems. Cloudflare's capabilities will be integrated into Kyndryl's practice areas, including Network & Edge and Security & Resiliency.
