Nokia, Sterlite Tech join forces to develop digital solutions for enterprises

Nokia, the Finnish telecom and IT company, has joined forces with Sterlite Technologies (STL), an optical and digital solutions company, to collaborate on enterprise connectivity solutions.   

The partnership aims to address the evolving needs of businesses across various sectors, focusing on use cases such as multi-service premise edge connectivity, intelligent premises, and predictive operations.  

The combined efforts of STL and Nokia will strengthen enterprise networks, delivering high-speed, high availability, and low-latency connections. These connections will cater to applications like 5G, IoT, augmented reality, data center interconnect, supply chain efficiency, real-time data analytics, and Gen AI use cases.  

The collaboration extends to government-driven connectivity projects, leveraging Nokia's market-leading B2B technology portfolio and STL's system integration capabilities. STL will provide state-of-the-art connectivity solutions for core infrastructure along with Managed Services, while Nokia will contribute next-generation networking solutions for IP and Optical networks, the company said. 

In addition to enhancing connectivity, the partnership also aims to accelerate the Industry 4.0 revolution, unlocking transformative potential for enterprises. The focus is on providing businesses with a competitive edge and driving transformation through disruptive technologies.
