AT&T, LTTS to create advanced solutions to combat climate change
Global digital engineering and R&D services company L&T Technology Services Limited and telecom major AT&T have joined hands to combat global emissions. This partnership will bring together the strengths of both companies to create advanced solutions for a greener world.
As part of this teamwork, LTTS will be part of AT&T’s Connected Climate Initiative (CCI), which focuses on using technology to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 1 gigaton by 2035. This initiative uses things like the Internet of Things (IoT), fiber, 5G, and edge computing to reach its goal. LTTS will work with AT&T to contribute to this emissions reduction effort and help companies make eco-friendly decisions.
Alind Saxena, President, Sales and Executive Director at L&T Technology Services (LTTS), said, "With AT&T's strong telecom network and our engineering expertise, we're making big steps toward a future less dependent on carbon. This collaboration is our promise to the planet. We're not just creating technologies; we're building a sustainable legacy that significantly reduces our environmental impact."
For L&T Technology Services (LTTS), being sustainable is not just a promise but a fundamental part of how they operate. The company offers a range of sustainability services, from green engineering solutions to community engagement programs, helping organizations integrate eco-friendly practices into their operations.

On February 13, LTTS entered into a collaboration with Blackberry. Blackberry, known for its shift to becoming an enterprise software and cybersecurity services provider in 2016, will contribute its QNX suite of automotive software solutions to the partnership. These solutions will be utilised to facilitate the development of software-defined vehicles (SDVs) for original equipment manufacturers, streamlining the product time-to-market process while ensuring the implementation of safe and secure mission-critical solutions.
On December 12 last year, LTTS finalised a multi-year engineering services agreement with the global energy company, BP. According to an official filing with the stock exchange, the collaboration is set to capitalize on L&T Tech's extensive two-decade experience in engineering, manufacturing services, digital solutions, and enterprise data management. The partnership aims to tackle some of the most pressing challenges faced by BP on a global scale.
