Genpact elevates Vidya Rao to chief tech and transformation officer post
Global professional services firm Genpact has announced two new executive leadership appointments. The company has named Vidya Rao as its new Chief Technology and Transformation Officer, while Vipin Gairola has been appointed as the Global Operating Officer.
Gairola, previously with Accenture for two decades, will lead the transformation of service delivery for Genpact’s clients using artificial intelligence (AI)-led solutions. He brings extensive experience from his recent role as Chief Strategy Officer for Accenture Operations.
In his new role, Gairola will oversee global client operations, analytics, data, and technology initiatives, solidifying his position within Genpact’s Leadership Council.
Meanwhile, Rao, who was previously Genpact’s Chief Information Officer, will now serve as Chief Technology and Transformation Officer. She will focus on reimagining Genpact’s internal processes, tools, and infrastructure with an AI-first approach.
Rao will also play a key role in establishing a robust data office to enhance Genpact’s data capabilities, driving forward the company’s AI and Automation initiatives.
