Kyndryl expands partnership with Google Cloud to boost Gen AI solutions for enterprises

IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to develop responsible Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) solutions, aiming to accelerate customer adoption. The collaboration will leverage Google Cloud's advanced Large Language Model (LLM), Gemini, coupled with Kyndryl's expertise and managed services. 

According to a company statement, Kyndryl's advisory, implementation, and consulting services will assist customers in identifying optimal Gen AI use cases aligned with their business goals. The partnership will utilise the Google Cloud Cortex Framework to enhance business value from customers' Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data on Google Cloud, fostering productivity, innovation, and improved business insights. 

To support responsible and cost-effective solutions, Kyndryl will introduce its custom Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps) Framework to Google Cloud customers. The company will continue offering data modernisation services to optimise foundations for Gen AI solutions. 

The company also plans to expand its AI and data analytics skills through increased training opportunities for practitioners via the Google Cloud Academy. With a focus on Google Cloud's generative AI, including Duet AI for Developers, and experience with Google's Generative AI Initiative for Service Partners, Kyndryl aims to meet the growing demand for Gen AI solutions.

Kyndryl and Google Cloud's collaboration has already benefited iHub Solutions, a Singapore-based smart warehouse, contract logistics, and e-commerce fulfillment services provider. Together, they facilitated the launch of a Gen AI pilot for customer service.
