Manish Sehgal joins CloudSEK as Chief Information Security Officer
Cybersecurity company CloudSEK has appointed Manish Sehgal as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Sehgal brings over 25 years of experience in information security, with a focus on enterprise risk management and cyber defense. He has expertise in managing information security, developing security strategies, and ensuring compliance in sectors such as banking, manufacturing, telecom, travel, and IT/ITeS.
In his new role as CISO at CloudSEK, Sehgal will lead the effort in crafting and implementing advanced information security strategies, with a focus on fortifying and protecting valuable customer data using a customer-centric approach.

Before joining CloudSEK, Sehgal served as the Executive Vice President & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at AU Small Finance Bank. He has also held significant roles at organisations such as Hewlett Packard and VFS Global Services.

Founded in 2015 by Rahul Sasi, the Singapore-based cybersecurity startup now primarily runs and engineers its operations in India. CloudSEK uses its AI platform to predict cyber-attacks before they occur. Its digital risk monitoring platform, XVigil, serves organisations across various industries, including top banks, technology companies, healthcare organizations, and retail giants such as ICICI, NPCI, CRED, Sun Pharma, Reliance, Tokopedia, OLA cabs, and Decathlon. The company has also launched the security search engine BeVigil, which allows users, developers, and researchers to evaluate the security of their applications.
In December 2023, CloudSEK raised $7 million in its Series ‘A’ funding round, led by MassMutual Ventures. To date, the startup has raised a total of $10 million. Over the past two years, CloudSEK has increased its sales and marketing efforts in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and North America. It has also focused on research and development to combat the increasingly sophisticated global threat landscape.
