Honeywell Automation India Limited, a global provider of automation and software solutions. has secured a crucial contract with Reliance Life Sciences (RLS), an biotechnology initiative of the Reliance Group of companies, to implement building management and safety technology. On November 6, Honeywell Automation India reported a marginal 3.4% rise in second-quarter profit, as a rise in expenses outpaced revenue growth. Profit at the Indian unit of US-based Honeywell International rose to ₹122 crore for the three months ended September 30, from ₹118 crore a year ago.
Its quarterly revenue was up 39% at ₹1,104 crore, however, a 44% rise in its total expenses, in line with the trend seen in the previous three quarters, weighed on profit. The company said, it has benefited from an infrastructure spending-led boost to its order book.
