Founders Saket Dandotia, Alok Patil quit VideoVerse to start their own AI startup
Saket Dandotia and Alok Patil co-founders of VideoVerse, the maker of Magnifi—an AI-powered video editing solution, on Tuesday, announced their exit from VideoVerse and have now launched a new generative artificial intelligence (AI) startup, Onetab.
According to them, Onetab is poised to offer competitive services in the space of AI-based software-as-a-service (SAAS) solutions and will provide seamless communication and collaboration with its proprietary custom large language model (LLM) model, designed to revolutionise the way teams interact and work together. “This feature of the start-up sets it apart from the current competition in the market,” said the co-founders.
The serial entrepreneurs have partnered with Sonal Dandotia for Onetab, who has been closely associated with Saket Dandotia and Patil in their prior entrepreneurial ventures and brings her expertise of operations and financials to Onetab.
“With Onetab we aim to streamline the communication and collaboration process by consolidating all necessary tools into a single tab. This means that developers can focus on their tasks without the hassle of switching between multiple tabs to coordinate with team members,” said Dandotia.
According to the founder, From API testing to Dev Ops, task management, development, and communication, Onetab promises to provide a one-stop solution, ultimately boosting productivity, minimising errors, and reducing costs. By eliminating the need for multiple tool subscriptions throughout the development lifecycle, Onetab is set to disrupt the communication and collaboration space.”
“Onetab has a unique feature, Onetab Insight (data science and analytics), which empowers users to interact with their databases using natural language and receive reports in a visually appealing format, all powered by the company's proprietary LLM models. With a strong focus on channel partners and a robust go-to-market strategy, the company aims to generate $200 million in revenue over the next three years, he added.
Onetab also supports various database systems like NoSQL, Snowflake, Amazon redshift, SAP HANA, Hotspot, Salesforce, Oracle, and MySQL. With Onetab Insights, you can obtain comprehensive reports within seconds, revolutionising the way we access and analyse data, he said in his LinkedIn post.
Meanwhile, private equity firm Bluestone Equity Partners has made a growth investment in VideoVerse even though the company did not reveal the funding amount. "Our partnership with Bluestone marks an exciting phase as we forge ahead with global expansion, and driving innovation in the realm of media technology by unlocking the boundless potential of AI," said Vinayak Shrivastav, CEO & Co-founder, VideoVerse.
