Tech Mahindra opens new business unit Navixus
Indian IT services firm Tech Mahindra announced on Thursday the launch of a new business unit called Navixus within its Tech Mahindra Business Process Services (BPS) division.
Navixus will combine Tech Mahindra's automation, analytics, and consulting capabilities with Eventus' customer experience (CX) and transformation capabilities to provide a comprehensive digital transformation suite to customers. The suite will include consulting, operational excellence, intelligent automation, generative artificial intelligence, and CX technologies. Navixus will also offer Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), advanced analytics, managed services, and guidance for customers looking to optimise and transform their businesses.
According to industry reports, while 90% of large companies globally are undergoing digital and artificial intelligence transformations, they have only achieved 31% of the expected revenue increase and a quarter of the expected cost savings. Navixus aims to help businesses address the challenges they face, such as increased customer expectations, omnichannel interactions, budget constraints, and inefficient processes across various industries.
Birendra Sen, Business Head of Business Process Services at Tech Mahindra, said that many enterprises are struggling with adapting to evolving technologies, ensuring data security, addressing skill gaps, managing complex transformations, and navigating a dynamic marketplace. The new business unit aims to partner with customers through a consulting-led approach and a suite of offerings that deliver superior experiences.
Navixus will also provide valuable insights from global implementations and integration with major CX technology providers. It will serve as a complete digital transformation suite that brings together all capabilities under one roof, empowering Tech Mahindra's customers with future-ready business capabilities that prioritise customer centricity.
Rob Rutledge, Business Unit Head of Navixus and CEO of Eventus, emphasized the importance of change for clients to remain competitive and meet customer demands. "Companies must evolve and automate or risk being replaced by those who proactively modernise their operations. Navixus will offer customers the experience gained from global implementations and integration with leading CX technology providers," he said.
Eventus, a provider of comprehensive customer engagement solutions, including strategy consulting, cloud-based tools, and managed services, was acquired by Tech Mahindra to enhance its consulting-led front office solutions. Navixus aligns with this vision, allowing Tech Mahindra to deliver industry-leading digital-first solutions to its global customers.
In its financial results announced on October 25, Tech Mahindra reported a 61.1% year-on-year decline in Q2FY24 consolidated net profit at ₹505.3 crore, compared to ₹1,299.2 crore in the same quarter last year.
