California-based UST opens new R&D facility in Hyderabad; plans to hire 2,000 employees in three years
California-based digital transformation solutions company UST has opened a new office in Hyderabad. Located at International Tech Park, the 1,18,000-square-foot facility will act as a centre for research and development in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and the Internet of things (IoT). The company has also announced that the facility will accommodate over 2,000 employees which is expected to double within three years.
To be sure, UST has been present in Hyderabad since 2018, starting with 250 employees. Today, the Hyderabad office is one of company’s fastest-growing development centres in India. Apart from Hyderabad, UST has dedicated software delivery and development centres in Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Pune, Coimbatore, Hosur, and Delhi-NCR.

On November 7, UST announced its suite of AI services, solutions, and platforms called UST AlphaAI. As per the company, the service combines USTs technical expertise, domain knowledge, and real-world experience to offer clients ‘ with effortless access to UST’s full spectrum of transformative AI solutions, unlocking new business efficiencies and fostering sustainable transformation’.
