IT firm Infosys has announced plans to extend its collaboration with Google Cloud. This move aims to empower enterprises to harness the potential of AI using Infosys' Topaz offerings in conjunction with Google Cloud's generative AI solutions.

As part of this partnership expansion, Infosys is launching the global Generative AI Labs. These labs will focus on crafting industry-specific AI solutions and platforms, enabling businesses to seamlessly incorporate generative AI into their operations. Additionally, Infosys aims to train 20,000 professionals in Google Cloud's gen AI solutions, ensuring proficient support for various generative AI projects.

This development builds upon Infosys' existing expertise in data, analytics, and AI on Google Cloud. The company is actively collaborating with Google Cloud to develop a suite of transformative AI platforms and industry solutions. These solutions encompass an array of business scenarios, such as Consumer AI, autonomous supply chain management, marketing automation, anti-money laundering, and customer service optimisation.

Notably, Infosys has been accelerating its AI initiatives. Last month, the company announced a collaboration with AI chip giant Nvidia, aimed at driving productivity gains for enterprises globally through generative AI applications and solutions. This expanded partnership will integrate Nvidia's AI Enterprise ecosystem into Infosys Topaz, enabling seamless integration of generative AI into businesses.

In addition, Infosys plans to establish an Nvidia Center of Excellence, aiming to train and certify 50,000 employees in NvidiaAI technology. This initiative will allow Infosys to provide comprehensive generative AI expertise to its extensive network of customers across various industries.
