ManageEngine launches cloud-native IAM platform to solve workforce challenges

ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management division of Zoho Corporation, has introduced Identity360, a cloud-native identity management platform designed to tackle complexities in identity and access management (IAM) for enterprise workforces.   

Identity360 serves as a centralized platform, integrating directories and applications to simplify user identity management. It enforces access controls across these integrated entities and provides end-to-end identity lifecycle management with workflow orchestration. This empowers organizations to optimize their business processes.  

"Organizations, regardless of their infrastructure and size, commonly encounter identity security and management challenges. Identity360 can help them securely transition to the cloud and effectively manage identities and their access to applications, all while enforcing strong security controls," said Manikandan Thangaraj, vice president of ManageEngine.   

In addition to Identity360, ManageEngine has extended the capabilities of ADManager Plus, its on-premises identity governance and administration (IGA) solution. This expansion includes access certification and identity risk assessment functionalities, which enhance enterprise compliance and security.

The identity risk assessment feature in ADManager Plus helps bolster cybersecurity readiness by identifying potential risks and providing immediate mitigation measures. Access certification campaigns ensure that users possess only the necessary rights for their roles, facilitating segregation of duties and the principle of least privilege, while also demonstrating compliance with IT mandates.   

"When it comes to Active Directory, cyberattacks are primarily caused by issues related to security misconfigurations and privilege abuse. Implementing strong measures such as risk assessments and access certification campaigns can enhance the security of Active Directory, streamline audit processes, and ensure compliance," Thangaraj said.  

Earlier this year, ManageEngine unveiled the MSSP Edition of Log360 Cloud, its cloud-based SIEM solution. This edition simplifies the management of multiple customer profiles from a single console, all while upholding stringent data security standards.
