IT company Genpact has announced an agreement with GE HealthCare, a US-based medical technology firm. The agreement involves transforming and overseeing GE HealthCare's US leasing and lending operations.

Under this agreement, GE HealthCare will utilise Genpact's business-process-as-a-service (BPaaS) operating model to enhance its abilities for customers who are acquiring new medical equipment. This BPaaS operating model is seamlessly integrated with Genpact's AI-powered platform, known as Genpact Cora. This combination offers a flexible and agile solution to address the company's requirements effectively.

This solution is built on an open architecture, incorporating generative AI and other emerging digital technologies. By adopting this platform, GE HealthCare gains access to crucial business benchmarks, insights, and key performance indicators. Moreover, the platform can be upgraded and enhanced to adapt to changing markets and customer demands easily.

Anil Nanduru, Global Business Leader, High Tech and Manufacturing, Genpact said, “We take pride in our longstanding history of co-innovation with GE HealthCare. We look forward to unlocking further meaningful value for both the organisation and its customers, empowering them to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.”

GE HealthCare's US-based customers will gain from Genpact's healthcare and life sciences expertise, along with its leasing and financial services know-how. This will offer them valuable insights and specialised knowledge in equipment finance, portfolio management, and customer operations support, the company said.

Additionally, on July 25, the company announced a partnership with Microsoft to provide AI tools to over 115,000 employees. Genpact also established a generative AI practice, bringing together data scientists, data engineers, and domain experts. They're focused on swiftly developing generative AI capabilities on the Genpact Cora platform, which is already integrated with more than 250 enterprise ecosystems, managing over 20 million transactions every month.
