Mukesh Rathi joins Hinduja Group as chief digital officer

Hinduja Group, a diversified conglomerate with subsidiaries such as Ashok Leyland, IndusInd Bank and Hinduja Technologies, among others, has appointed Mukesh Rathi as its chief digital officer.

Rathi, who comes with over 24 years of industry experience, has joined Hinduja Group from Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories where he worked as chief digital and information officer.

At the Hinduja Group, Rathi will be responsible for building robust digital transformation roadmaps for group companies while steering the conglomerate towards a commanding presence in the digital economy. He would be based at the Hinduja Group’s corporate centre in Mumbai.

Throughout his career, he has executed several digital business strategies, nurtured digital ventures, and spearheaded innovation to establish competitive advantage.

Besides, he is a specialist in platform thinking, advanced analytics, business process excellence, product management, design thinking, user experience, supply network transformation, capability building, change management, and culture transformation.

Prior to working with Dr. Reddy’s, Rathi has worked with HP Enterprise Services, Genpact, SAP India, and Hindustan Unilever.

He has completed B. Tech, Industrial Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and post-graduation in management from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow.
