Workspace interiors platform OfficeBanao appoints Aman Agarwal as SVP, Head of Digital Growth
Workspace interiors platform OfficeBanao has appointed Aman Agarwal as the Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Growth.
In his new role, Agarwal will lead strategic initiatives to enhance digital awareness and acquire clients for the company, leveraging his extensive 12 years of experience. His appointment is part of the company’s strategy to establish a stronger on-ground presence in the top 25 markets, catering to customers ranging from small to mid-sized businesses and large enterprises.
Agarwal joins OfficeBanao from Airtel, where he worked for nearly two and a half years in key roles. In addition, he has also held positions at prominent companies including Flipkart, OYO, and Deloitte.
He holds a B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Agarwal has also been actively engaged in social work through non-governmental organizations.
Tushar Mittal, Founder & CEO of OfficeBanao, described Agarwal's appointment as a strategic move. He stated that this appointment follows the company's technology-driven approach to providing workspace owners with a delightful experience, and they are excited to welcome Agarwal on board.
Mittal further noted that Agarwal's expertise in growth and product management will be invaluable to OfficeBanao, accelerating the company's growth plans to become a prominent player in the workspace interiors sector.
“I am honored to be a part of such a dynamic and rapidly growing firm that is committed to providing transparent and cost-effective customer-centric solutions. I look forward to leveraging my experience to enhance digital awareness and expand OfficeBanao's client base,” Agarwal remarked.
Headquartered in Gurugram, OfficeBanao successfully raised $6 million in seed funding in April from the point of sale and payments platform Lightspeed. Last month, the company secured funding from three investors — former Meta India MD Ajit Mohan, former Colliers India CEO Ramesh Nair, and Apurva Chamaria, the head of partnership solutions, start-ups & venture capital at Google India.
Founded in January 2022 by Mittal, along with co-founders Akshya Kumar and Divyanshu Sharma, OfficeBanao offers a range of commercial interiors, connecting designers, architects, contractors, office furniture providers, and material suppliers.
