Vodafone Idea's enterprise arm partners with Yotta for data centre, cloud services

Vodafone Idea’s enterprise arm, Vi Business, on Wednesday said that it has partnered with Mumbai-based data centre firm Yotta Infrastructure, to enhance its data centre colocation and cloud services portfolio. 

Under this partnership, Vi Business will augment its market presence with Yotta’s data centres, cloud infrastructure, and service delivery capabilities to aid the digital transformation journey of Indian enterprises.  
 
At the same time, Vi Business aims to leverage its synergies with Yotta to offer integrated connectivity, cloud and security solutions to its enterprise customers. 
 
Rochak Kapur, executive vice president — connectivity, security, cloud & business operations, Vi said, the association aims to “empower businesses with tailor-made solutions in the most cost-optimised way that address their unique needs and propel them towards growth in their digital journey”. 
 
Yotta, a part of Hiranandani Group, has a strong network of state-of-the-art, highly-compliant, and secure hyperscale data centres in key locations across India — Yotta NM1, Yotta TB1 and TB2 in Navi Mumbai, Yotta D1 in Greater Noida.  
 
The company also has a pipeline of data centre parks and edge data centres in West Bengal, Pune, Chennai, Guwahati, among other locations. It has also announced its expansion in Bangladesh. 
 
In May, the company also said that it has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Tarun Kripalani as Media & Entertainment Evangelist and Siji Sunny as Chief Cloud Architect. 
 
Sunil Gupta, Co-founder, MD & CEO, Yotta Data Services, said in a statement that Vi Business will augment Yotta’s indigenous hyperscale data centre and cloud infrastructure, combining them with its extensive go-to-market (GTM) outreach and in-house service delivery capabilities.
