IT firm HCLTech, on Wednesday, announced an extended collaboration with Microsoft, aiming to deliver high-performance computing (HPC) solutions to clients in different industries.

As part of this initiative, HCLTech intends to train 3,000 professionals within three years and establish a dedicated lab-cum-centre of excellence (CoE) in partnership with Microsoft, the company said.

These solutions will leverage HCLTech's advanced engineering services and Microsoft's Azure cloud HPC technologies. The primary focus of the collaboration is to grant clients access to HPC resources, including core infrastructure, advanced analytics, machine learning, and simulations.
