LTIMindtree, CYFIRMA to enhance cybersecurity for modern enterprises

LTIMindtree, a technology consulting and digital solutions company, has teamed up with CYFIRMA, an external threat landscape management platform, to enhance the threat intelligence capabilities of its XDR platform. 

The collaboration comes after L&T Innovation Fund, part of Larsen & Toubro (LT) and Mindtree's parent company, strategically invested in CYFIRMA during a pre-Series B funding round.   

As per the company, this investment aims to combine LTIMindtree's expertise and advanced platform-led approach with CYFIRMA's external threat landscape management solutions. Together, they plan to provide enterprises with a comprehensive understanding of their cybersecurity status and effective tools to manage and mitigate potential threats.  

LTIMindtree's XDR platform is a cloud-based solution that offers a unified view of security threats from various data sources like network, endpoint, cloud, and email. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to automate threat detection and response. The platform provides actionable insights to aid security teams in prioritizing and investigating threats.  

“Organisations are having to adopt measures that improve security posture not just from the perspective of resolving these incidents effectively, but also detecting, responding, and recovering from risks ahead of time,” said Sudhir Chaturvedi, President & Executive Board Member at LTIMindtree  

He further said that “Our partnership with CYFIRMA will provide a 360-degree, intelligent, and integrated threat monitoring and automated incident response system, which will help clients build a predictive, prescriptive, and resilient cybersecurity ecosystem and further strengthen their overall security posture.”  

In a separate collaboration, on June 13, LTIMindtree joined forces with Microsoft Intelligent Security Association to enhance its MDR platform with the Microsoft Security product portfolio. This collaboration aims to empower enterprises to prevent, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyberattacks in real time using Microsoft Sentinel.  

LTIMindtree's MDR service follows a modular and systematic platform approach, providing cybersecurity and resiliency services.  

Additionally, on July 5, the company introduced 'LTIMindtree V-Protect', a cyber-recovery and data protection platform powered by Rubrik, the Zero Trust Data Security company. This platform offers data protection and recovery for M365 workloads such as Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. Its design specifically addresses the impacts of ransomware attacks, human errors, and data policy breaches to ensure data safety and compliance.
