Ramco Systems appoints Sundar Subramanian as CEO
Chennai-based enterprise software company Ramco Systems has announced the appointment of Sundar Subramanian as its Chief Executive Officer.
In his new role as CEO, Subramanian will be responsible for leading the organisation and further building upon the company’s portfolio of enterprise offerings with a renewed focus on execution and growth.
Subramanian joins Ramco with over three decades of experience in growing businesses through customer relationships, driving sales, enhancing operational and delivery excellence, and integrating acquisitions.
Prior to joining Ramco, he led the delivery and operations of leading multinational information technology services and consulting companies, including Mphasis, Cognizant, IBM and PwC.
“Over the last few quarters, we have invested our time and efforts in transforming and recalibrating our learnings to emerge better. We utilised this phase to reform our operations and focus on delivery excellence, while continuing to build on our strengths and invest in automation. This is resulting in a higher adoption of the SaaS model, embedded with AI tools. Subramanian, who holds a master’s in management from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a BE in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University, said,

Ramco Systems’ consolidated net loss widened to ₹45.40 crore during the quarter ended March 2023 as compared to a net loss of ₹26.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. But total income during the quarter increased to ₹128.26 crore from ₹125.24 crore, YoY. For FY2023, the company’s consolidated net loss was at ₹206.86 crore as against ₹72.93 crore in the previous year. Its total income for the year was ₹497.73 crore, down from ₹540.37 crore in the previous year.
In June, the company strengthened its presence in the Middle East by launching its wholly owned subsidiary in Qatar, to support and transform the region’s business houses and MNCs in the area of ERP, HR, and payroll.
