US-Based Frigidaire enters Indian market in partnership with Ossify

Frigidaire, a US consumer electronics company, has partnered with Indian consumer electronics brand Ossify to sell its trusted electronic home appliances including air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, and freezers in India.    

Electrolux's innovative products with Wi-Fi connectivity and inverter technology improve home demands.    

While USA-based Frigidaire has been a player in the global market for more than 100 years, providing consumer home appliances across the globe, this is the first time the company will be catering to Indian consumers under Ossify Industries.     

Frigidaire, making its debut in the Indian market, with its advanced and highly effective air conditioners featuring powerful compressors and multi-directional airflow systems that swiftly remove excess heat from a room. It has inverter technology, antibacterial filters that are simple to clean, and three levels of energy management.    

Sandeep Chaudhary, Ossify Group's founder, said that Frigidaire air conditioners would be the first product offered in India and only on major online marketplaces. The next product line will include washing machines and refrigerators, which will soon be available in India.   

Frigidaire is a subsidiary of Electrolux, which sold its Indian appliance business and three production plants to Videocon in 2005. Videocon received a five-year license to use the Electrolux brand and an unlimited license to use the Kelvinator brand in India and selected countries. Videocon was subsequently pushed into bankruptcy in India. July 2022 marked the company's India return.
