HCLTech gets AWS Cloud Operations Competency status

HCLTech has been awarded the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Operations Competency recognition. This recognises HCLTech as a validated AWS partner that offers guidance across five solution areas of cloud operations –  cloud financial management, cloud governance, monitoring and observability, compliance and auditing, and operations management.

Transitioning to the cloud offers several advantages but leveraging them properly requires effective management of the cloud management. Without the right model for operating the cloud at scale, organisations can struggle with issues pertaining to security, compliance, and operational safety. It may also led to inefficient application development and deployments, leading to errors and downtime in mission-critical applications.

It simplifies information technology (IT), business operations, and cloud operations. It also protects the cloud environment from threats and reduces operational overheads at a lower monthly cost.

AWS started the AWS Competency Program to help customers to identify AWS partners that offer industry expertise and experience.

Notably, HCLTech launched its AWS Business Unit (AWS BU) in 2021 to help companies in accelerating their cloud transformation journey. This business unit works with customers to modernise their legacy systems and mainframe application. It also assist in adopting cloud technologies to boost efficiency while migrating and managing SAP workloads on AWS.
