LTIMindtree, a global technology services company, has opened a new delivery centre in Krakow, Poland. According to the company, the decision was driven by the firm's strategy to increase its profile in the region of Eastern Europe.  

The new delivery centre was inaugurated by Jerzy Muzyk, Deputy Mayor of the City of Krakow, Przemyslaw Roth, Vice President, ASPIRE (Krakow), Peter Mitchell, Vice President, The Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL — Krakow), Rao Maddukuri, President of Poland India Business Council and Nachiket Deshpande, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board Member, LTIMindtree.   

To better serve its customers in the travel, transportation, and hospitality industries, LTIMindtree has opened the new delivery center at Ocean Office Park, Krakow.

The company said that the new Krakow delivery centre will complement its existing facility in Warsaw. With 23 offices and 9 delivery centres around Europe, including the newest addition in Krakow, the company claims to serve over 75 clients.  

Nachiket Deshpande, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board Member, LTIMindtree, said, “This advanced facility will enable us to understand the needs of our customers better and bring our services closer to our global clients and those in Europe, and help deliver next-generation experiences to them.”    

He said that this development is in keeping with the company’s aim to increase its geo capabilities and global footprint by strengthening their presence in important areas.

Przemyslaw Roth, Vice President, ASPIRE (Krakow) said, “We congratulate LTIMindtree on opening of their new delivery centre in Krakow, Poland. This foray into Eastern Europe is a strategic move that will further streamline the access of their digital solutions portfolio to enterprises in the geo.”    

Recently the firm collaborated with Duck Creek and Microsoft to develop a cloud migration solution for the insurance industry, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal on January 25.   

The alliance, will help insurers gain an edge in the market by providing their clients with better service, more products, lower prices, and higher profits, as per the report.
