Infosys Compaz, a joint venture of Infosys and Singaporean state holding company Temasek, has announced a collaboration with Singapore-based communications, entertainment and digital services provider StarHub to enable their IT transformation.

Through this engagement, the Infosys JV will facilitate StarHub’s technology operations, service management and cybersecurity and also help in enhancing the latter’s sourcing strategy for IT services, so as to support their changing business needs.

Further, Infosys Compaz will work with StarHub to execute large-scale IT operations management projects, while bringing strong digital capabilities, depth of solutions, robust cybersecurity, and the ability to drive business innovation powered by Infosys Cobalt.

Additionally, Infosys Compaz will aid StarHub in restructuring their service management and governance models to improve control and delivery management while updating their security infrastructure to maintain high levels of security.

“StarHub’s technology leadership, coupled with Infosys’ deep domain competencies, local presence, and proven digital capabilities, will definitely strengthen and accelerate StarHub’s digital journey, which augurs well for our DARE+ strategy and promises to benefit our customers,” said Kee Yaw Yee, CIO, StarHub, in a statement.

StarHub unveiled DARE+ in October 2021, ending its Dare 1.0 strategy, further aiming to take the brand from a telco to a company that connects and enriches digital lives for customers. For example, DARE+ cuts across over-the-top (OTT) streaming entertainment, cloud gaming and digital solutions — driving consumption through all-encompassing super-app platforms for customers.

According to the company, the strategy delivered cost savings of over SG$270 million, exceeding the original target of SG$210 million. Its earlier DARE 1.0 strategy also resulted in a 15% reduction in operating expenditure levels.
