Tata Tele partners Google Cloud to offer Workplace suite to SMBs
Tata Tele Business Services (TTBS), the brand under which Tata Teleservices offers voice, data and managed services to enterprises and carriers, has partnered with Google Cloud to offer Google Workspace for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs).
Google Workspace brings together Gmail, Google Chat, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Meet, and is powered Google Cloud.
The partnership will enable TTBS to offer businesses a single, unified experience for workplace communication and collaboration for their hybrid workforce as they continue to scale and modernise their cloud infrastructure, to drive greater efficiency and market growth, the company said in a statement.
The statement further said that Google Workspace easily integrates with several other software applications. For example, a business might sync their Google Sheets and Salesforce CRM to gain added insights and eliminate silos in company data or they can sync Google Docs with communication software Slack and send documents to other users with details and updates.

He added that the new alliance is a significant step in strengthening Tata Teleservices efforts to “democratise connected cloud capabilities for businesses to help them move faster in their digital adoption journeys”.
TTBS has recently taken several initiatives to empower businesses with innovative and reliable solutions as they move up the digital transformation curve. The company has strengthened its portfolio of enterprise-grade solutions such as Smartflo, an advanced cloud communication suite, SmartOffice, a one-box start-up kit with voice, data, apps, storage, and more; Ultra-Lola; Smart Internet Leased Line; collaboration solutions; SD-WAN iFLX, which is an intelligently flexible solution built on Fortinet’s platform for network optimisation; and a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity solutions across industries.
The company said that the solutions address the needs arising out of a distributed and remote working environment and enable customers to maintain business continuity in a flexible, scalable, and secure manner.
Meanwhile, at Google Cloud Next 2022 Google said that it is taking significant steps in making Google Workspace the most open and extensible platform for users with the launch of new integrations and developer tools.
