HCLTech to hire 1,000 workers, open new tech centre in Brazil
Homegrown IT services company HCLTech (formerly HCL Technologies) is planning to hire 1,000 professionals in Brazil over the next few years and will open a new technology center in Campinas, Sau Paulo to develop and provide “next-generation tech solutions and services” across digital, engineering and cloud.
The announcement is part of the company’s plans to scale up operations in Brazil to cater to local and global clients.
“The company is committed to delivering technology-driven differentiated solutions to our clients’ increasing demands for digital transformation,” Anil Ganjoo, chief growth officer, Americas, and Executive Sponsor, Brazil, HCLTech said in a statement.
Ganjoo further said that this is a part of the company’s long-term strategic plan in the country that also includes supercharging progress for clients, partners, people, and communities in the region.

HCLTech is one of the leading IT service providers and has over 211,000 employees across 52 countries. Its key capabilities include Software-as-a-service (SaaS), application modernization, enterprise applications, data analytics, and cognitive automation.
The company stated in its annual financial report for 2022 that its revenue has increased 13.6% year-over-year (YoY) to $11.48 billion in FY22.
Last month, the company announced a change in brand name and logo to reflect a more global brand identity while retaining its core identity as an HCL Group company.
