Web3 firm Gather Network further empowers CTO Ashesh Koul for South Asia expansion
Dubai-based Web3 and blockchain content monetisation platform Gather Network has recently announced their expansion plan for India operations with additional responsibilities assigned to their Chief Technology Officer, Ashesh Koul.
In his new role, Koul will manage the company's growth in the South Asian market and will also lead a team of 40 employees.
According to an official statement, Koul has been with Gather Network for over four years and has an understanding of both the business as well as consumer needs.
His skills and experience will also be responsible for creating a Web3 powerhouse for leading business strategy, tech consulting and also building blockchain capabilities, it added.
He has 18 years of experience in the technology industry and has spearheaded large teams of more than 200 engineers as well as working hands-on in Fortune 500 enterprises and technology start-ups. Koul has a strong technical background in mobile, middleware, automation, and big data, and recently applied for a patent as well.

Last month, Gather Network has opened its first commercial establishment in Gurugram. This this, new Indian operation headquarters, the company intends to significantly increase its workforce in India.
